Tax Fatigued

Hello,  I just joined your organization out of frustration, anger and hopefully to make a difference in holding our elected politicians acountable to the people in reducing government waste and lowering our taxes.  I live in Ontario and I have never seen a government like the McGuinty Liberals hold the electorate in contempt and treat us like a herd of compliant sheep.   Over-spending and breaking promise after promise, with the EHT, HST, Eco-Fee and a myriad of other tax increases, stealth fees and other new ways to extract dollars out of the working populace.

I have written to my MPP amd MP, expressing my views and that I am looking forward to the 2011 election to vote against Mr. McGuinty and the Liberal party.   I think any political opposition party that runs on a platform to reduce taxes in the first years mandate and specifically the HST by 2 - 3 points,  will likely resonate with the voters.  However,  what this province needs is legislation like BC where introducing a new tax would require a referendum.

I also think the HST and some of the other new fees (that are really a tax) should be challenged under the constitution as being illegal.

I will do as your introductory video suggested and pass along your URL to my contact list, so they too have the opportunity to join and have ther voices heard.

Thank you.

Canada's Federal Debt

The federal government is adding $135 million a day to our debt. At this rate, the $105-billion in debt repayment between 1997 – 2008 will be wiped out next year. Support our campaign for a federal balanced budget law and help us STOP this clock.
