Why Regina's City Manager Should not get a $50,000 raise

City council has a decision before it whether to give a $50,000 raise to manager Glen Davies. When Davies was hired, his initial salary of $187,000 in 2006 was already substantially more than his counterparts earned in cities of a similar size. His $50,000 bump is by itself more than most Regina citizens will make annually. Nor will they enjoy such a generous pension in retirement. Read more »
