No need for new - Mosaic Stadium in good shape
REGINA: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) today released documents on Mosaic Stadium that the City of Regina previously refused to disclose. They detail how less than $6 million of maintenance would allow the stadium another decade of use.

Regina: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) today called on the City of Regina and the provincial government to fully release stadium reports, some paid for with tax dollars.
The CTF asked the City of Regina for copies of the February 14, 2008 executive committee report on Mosaic Stadium, the March 2007 Mosaic Stadium audit and conceptual designs which were commissioned by the Roughriders. The city refused to disclose most of the information.

REGINA: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) is blowing the whistle on a double standard that allows Saskatchewan MLAs raises to be calculated at a higher inflation rate than used for hiking their citizens’ tax brackets.
Saskatchewan MLAs are getting a 3.3 percent increase this year, while the province’s tax brackets on income only rose by 2.5 percent.

REGINA: This morning, Lee Harding of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) presented another 5,102 petitions calling for relief on school property taxes to Sask Party MLA Jim Reiter. This brings the all-time total to 17,002.
