Federal: I Stand with Irv

Click here for a printable version.

Irvin Leroux lost everything fighting the CRA over the past 18 years – but he delivered an important victory for taxpayers: a ruling saying CRA owes all of us a “duty of care” when dealing with our tax issues.

Now the CRA is trying to get that “duty of care” struck down with yet another court case against Irv.

Let’s make the Canada Revenue Agency know that taxpayers aren’t going to take it anymore. We stand with Irv and they need to drop their appeal.

To the Honorable Diane Lebouthillier, Minister of National Revenue:

We, the undersigned, demand that the case against Irvin Leroux be dropped, and that Mr. Leroux be properly compensated by the Canada Revenue Agency for his unfair losses and court costs over the past 18 years.

Further, we demand that the Canada Revenue Agency be forced to operate with a “duty of care” to all taxpayers, ensuring we are treated fairly by the CRA.

We stand with Irvin Leroux. You should too.

You have the power to change who influences politics in our country: big unions, big corporations and government-funded special interest groups can be challenged by the contributions of thousands of individual taxpayers who care to make a difference.
