Surround the Prime Minister’s Office with bus shelter ads

You can make sure Prime Minister Justin Trudeau remembers to cut off expenses for a governor general leaves office.

Julie Payette is eligible to charge taxpayers up to $200,000 a year for her office expenses after she stepped down as governor general. Former governor general Adrienne Clarkson has racked up more than a million dollars in expenses since she left office.

The Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he’d look into this. That was two years ago. He’s hoping you’ve forgotten. You need to give him a big reminder.

You can put ads on four bus shelters right outside the Prime Minister’s Office and Parliament Hill reminding Trudeau and all of the politicians in Ottawa to cut off expense accounts as soon as a governor general leaves office. Let’s make sure the prime minister remembers to do the right thing and cut off expenses for former governors general.
