To the Premier,
British Columbia is spiralling into deep debt.
The provincial budget shows the B.C. debt is set to hit $127 billion by 2023-24, incurring large interest costs.
B.C. pays about $2.8 billion per year in interest charges on the provincial debt.
Taxpayers and their grandchildren cannot afford this debt load.
We, the undersigned, call on the premier to balance the provincial budget as soon as possible and get spending under control.
