Indian Chiefs earn more than premiers

Author: Colin Craig 2010/10/19

Federal director Kevin Gaudet comments on the CTF's recent report showing a number of Indian Chiefs earn more after tax income than provincial premiers some of who govern millions of people. Kevin adds the salary figures received through Access to Information were not complete and did not provide Chief's "other income" suggesting their salaries could be even higher. Kevin called for more transparency on Chief incomes.
