Ottawa's VIP Jet Fleet

With revelations of questionable use of Ottawa's VIP Jet Fleet composed of six Challenger Jets, Federal Director Gregory Thomas questions if the Fleet is really necessary. According to the Auditor General, it costs $12,000 an hour to fly one jet, and questions are being raised why lower ranking officials and bureaucrats are using jets when commercial air travel is available and substantially cheaper.
