Tax Talk Live #8 - CRA Duty of Care w/ Scott Hennig & Jordan Bateman

Author: Jordan Bateman 2016/01/29

Prince George's Irvin Leroux fought with CRA for two decades after they incorrectly calculated his taxes, shredded his documents and seized his property. While he was never made whole by the CRA, he did win a stunning victory for all Canadian taxpayers - a judge ruled that the CRA owes a duty of care to the taxpayers it polices. The CTF's VP-Communications Scott Hennig and Tax Talk host Jordan Bateman break down what that ruling means for all taxpayers.
