Alberta government spends $383,000 on charter flights

Freedom of Information requests reveal a huge flying bill for the Stelmach government. Scott Hennig of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation says this is an easy place to save money, especially when budgets are in deficit. Even though Edmonton-Calgary flights run every hour of the day, Alberta's Progressive Conservative government often used charter flights for such trips.
