Effective August 1, 2017, the Saskatchewan government imposed a new tax on insurance. The tax will apply to all types of insurance from Life insurance, disability insurance to crop insurance. CTF Saskatchewan Director Todd McKay opposes the tax and has started a petition to stop it.
