Author: Todd MacKay 2024/02/13

REGINA, SK: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation today announced the appointment of Tim McMillan as chair of its board of directors.

“The Canadian Taxpayers Federation has an important job to do when governments across Canada are raising taxes and running up spending,” said McMillan. “I’m honoured to roll up my sleeves and serve as the CTF’s board chair as we fight for lower taxes, less waste and more accountable government.”

McMillian is a partner at Garrison Strategies, based in Calgary. He previously served as president and CEO of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and a cabinet minister in Saskatchewan.

He grew up on a farm near Lloydminster, SK.

“Tim has decades of experience in the world of public policy, both inside and outside government so we’re excited to have him at the helm of our board,” said CTF President and CEO Scott Hennig.
