Ryan joined the CTF in 2023 after a five-year stint at the Winnipeg Free Press, where he covered crime and municipal politics, before moving onto long-form features and investigations.
A graduate of Niagara College’s journalism program, his reporting, essays, and book reviews have been published in a variety of newspapers and magazines.
When not sleuthing for stories on government waste and accountability, Ryan enjoys reading, shooting pool, and cheering on the Miami Dolphins and the Toronto Blue Jays.
