Simon joined the Canadian Taxpayers Federation in June of 2026 with a background in journalism and public affairs. Simon grew up in Montreal, obtaining a degree in journalism from University of Quebec in Montreal. He then moved to the nation's capital to complete a masters in Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa. He started his career working as a journalist for various newspapers such as Le Droit, TFO and Narcity where he always excelled at bringing new topics to public attention. Simon is now dedicated to fight for taxpayers and keeping politicians in Ottawa accountable.
